Terms of use
What you may expect of Pothikrit, and what Pothikrit expects of you.
In force from 12 September 2026.
Who may use it
- Anyone may read, search and download published work without an account.
- An account is needed to publish, to comment, to run a model here, to open the lab, or to enter a challenge or a benchmark.
- One person, one account. An organization acts through its own space, with members who each have their own account.
What you publish
- You keep whatever rights you already had. Publishing here grants Pothikrit only what it needs to host your work, show it, and hand it to people under the licence you chose.
- You must have the right to publish it, and the licence you choose must be one you are entitled to give.
- Personal data belongs to the people it is about. Do not publish it without a lawful basis and, where consent is the basis, without that consent.
- Work may be taken down if it turns out to be unlawful, to be somebody else’s, or to put people at risk. You will be told why.
What you take
- Every dataset and model carries a licence. It, not this page, decides what you may do with the work.
- Attribution asked for by a licence is not optional, and the citation on each page is there to make it easy.
- API access is bounded by the plan an organization is on. Working around a limit — many accounts, many keys, automated sign-ups — ends the access.
Challenges and benchmarks
- Answers are scored against material that is deliberately held back. Trying to obtain it, by any means, disqualifies the entry and the account.
- A daily submission limit applies to everyone. It exists so nobody can read the answers back one submission at a time.
- Prizes and their conditions belong to whoever runs the challenge and are stated on its own page.
What we do not promise
- Nothing here is offered with a warranty. Data and models are contributed by people and organizations, and their quality is described by them, not certified by us.
- A model’s answer is a machine’s guess. Do not use one where a wrong answer would harm somebody without a person checking it first.
- Service may be interrupted for maintenance, and work may be moved or archived as the platform changes.
Ending it
- You may close your account at any time; published work stays unless it is withdrawn, because others may already rely on it.
- Accounts may be suspended for breaking these terms, and you will be told what was broken.
- Questions about these terms: support@pothikrit.org.
